Jen & Joe’s Unique Garden Party Wedding

When planning a Garden party Wedding, the most important thing to remember is that it’s your day! Make it your own! Jen and Joe did just that when they got married at Club Continental in Orange Park, FL. Their wedding was full of personal touches, special moments, and a few surprises that made the day unforgettable.

The Perfect Venue for a Secret Garden Wedding: Club Continental

Club Continental, with its beautiful mix of history and riverfront views, was the ideal setting for Jen and Joe’s garden party Wedding. Located along the St. Johns River, the venue offers gorgeous gardens, and big oak trees that give any wedding a charming feel. But Jen and Joe’s wedding was far from traditional, it was fresh, fun, and completely their own.

Instead of a traditional evening wedding, they chose to have a brunch wedding. This let them enjoy the whole day, from the bright morning sun to the peaceful evening by the water. The weather was mostly perfect. Clear morning skies, blooming flowers, and a gentle breeze mixed in with that faithful afternoon Florida shower.

 Jen’s Big Musical Surprise

One of the highlights of the day was Jen’s special surprise. Jen, a talented musician, decided to serenade everyone during the first dance. She and one of her talented guest Sean performed “Mango Tree” by Zac Brown Band. No one saw it coming! At certain parts of the song, Jen and Joe shared their first dance together. It was a truly special moment that left everyone amazed and surprised!

Brunch, Poolside Fun, and a Relaxing Evening

Brunch weddings are becoming more popular, and Jen and Joe’s celebration showed why. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delicious brunch buffet with all the favorites—mimosas, fresh fruit, and savory dishes. The brunch set a relaxed and joyful tone for the day, allowing everyone to enjoy the celebration without the rush of a traditional timeline.

With the Garden party wedding and reception wrapped up by early afternoon, the couple and close friends had the rest of the day to enjoy. So, what did they do? They hit the pool! Jen, Joe, and their bridal party traded their wedding outfits for swimsuits and spent the afternoon by the pool, soaking up the sun, and laughing with friends. It was a great way to unwind after the excitement of the morning.

As the day turned to evening, Jen and Joe, along with their closest friends, headed to a nearby bar by the water to keep the party going. The laid-back vibe of the bar, combined with the beautiful views of the river, made for a perfect end to the day. They toasted to their new life together, shared stories, and hung out —a relaxed and fun way to close out a truly special day.

Making It Their Own Garden party wedding

What made Jen and Joe’s wedding stand out was how they made it their own. They didn’t follow a traditional wedding schedule—they did what felt right for them. Whether it was Jen singing during the first dance, spending the afternoon by the pool, or ending the day with a casual party at a bar, every part of the day reflected who they are as a couple.

This is a great reminder that your wedding doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. The most important thing is that it feels like you. Jen and Joe were able to enjoy every minute of their wedding day because they planned it in a way that worked for them.
